Yes, you may schedule your future funds transfer – at a future date or on a recurring basis.

Yes, you may edit / delete your future or recurring transfer as below:

  • Click on ‘Transfer’ from main menu and select ‘Manage Transfer’.
  • Select ‘Transfer Schedule’
  • Mouseover the Scheduled Transfer you wish to edit or cancel
  • Click on ‘Edit’ or ‘Delete’

A maximum of 50 recipients can be added as Registered Transfer.

Status will show successful.

Own Account Transfer

Transfer Funds within your own AFFINBANK account(s).

Steps on how to perform One Time Own Account Transfer:

  • Click on ‘Transfer’ from Main Menu and select ‘Fund Transfer’ from sub menu.
  • Select ‘Transfer Within Affin’
  • Select your preferred Savings or Current Account at ‘From Account’ drop down list
  • Select destination Savings or Current Account at ’Transfer To’ drop down list
  • The default date is today's date. Select Payment Date if you want the transfer to be executed Later.
  • Enter the number of occurrences for recurring transaction or continue until a future date or further notice (If you select the Frequency of transfer as Every Month, Every Quarter or Every Year).
  • Enter Amount (RM) and Recipient Reference
  • Key in Remarks (Optional-you may key in some remarks for your personal reference)
  • Click on ‘Continue’
  • Verify details entered and click on ‘Confirm’

There is no limit for Own Account Transfer.

3rd Party Account Transfer

Transfer Funds to other AFFINBANK account's holder.

Open 3rd Party or Inter-Bank Account Transfer

  • Customer can perform account transfer to any valid account without having to register the account details.
  • This is normally used for a one-time transfer only

Registered 3rd Party or Inter-Bank Account Transfer

  • Customers must register the account details online under ‘Manage Transfer’ before account transfer can be performed.
  • This is to make regular transfer more convenient because customers do not have to fill in the recipient’s account details again whenever they perform transfer to the registered recipient’s account.

A 3rd Party Account's details must be registered before a registered 3rd Party Account Transfer can be performed.

Steps on how to register a 3rd Party Account:

  • Click on ‘Transfer’ from Main Menu and select ‘Manage Transfer’ from sub menu.
  • Click on ‘Add Registered Transfer’ button and select ‘3rd Party Transfer’
  • Enter Recipient’s Account Number
  • Enter Preferred Name
  • Enter E-mail Address
  • Click on ‘Continue’
  • Verify details entered and click on ‘Request TAC’ to request for TAC
  • Enter the 6-digit TAC and click on ‘Confirm’

Steps on how to perform Open 3rd Party Account Transfer:

  • Click on Transfers from Main Menu and select Transfers from sub menu.
  • Select on Open 3rd Party Account Transfer
  • Select on Security Token option SMS Token, and click on Confirm
  • Select on Saving or Current Account at Transfer From drop down list
  • Enter 3rd Party Account Number
  • Enter Preferred Name (Optional-you may key in nickname of the 3rd Party account for your personal reference)
  • Enter E-mail Address (Optional –you may key in email address of the 3rd Party account to allow notification upon successful transfer)
  • Enter Amount (RM)
  • Key in Memo (Optional-you may key in some remarks for your personal reference)
  • Enter Payment Date if you want the transfer to be executed on future date. The defaulted date is today's date.
  • Click on Next
  • Verify details entered and click on Request TAC hyperlink to request for TAC
  • Enter 6-digit TAC number and click on Confirm
  • Verify details entered and click on ‘Request TAC’ to request for TAC
  • Enter the 6-digit TAC and click on ‘Confirm’

Steps on how to perform an Open 3rd Party Account Transfer:

  • Click on ‘Transfer’ from Main Menu and select ‘Fund Transfer’ from sub menu.
  • Select ‘Transfer Within Affin’
  • Select Savings or Current Account at From Account drop down list
  • Click on ‘Transfer To’ input field
  • Enter 3rd Party Account Number and click ‘Continue (+)’

  • The default date is today's date. Select Payment Date if you want the transfer to be executed Later.

  • Click on ‘Add Registered Transfer’ and select ‘Interbank Transfer’
  • Select the Recipient Bank from the drop-down list
  • Enter Recipient Account Number and Name respectively
  • Select the Recipient Residential Status
  • Enter Recipient ID Type / ID Number (Optional - you may key in Recipient IC number for your personal reference.)
  • Key in the Recipient Email address (optional)
  • Click on ‘Continue’
  • Verify details entered and click on ‘Request TAC’ to request for TAC
  • Enter the 6-digit TAC click on ‘Confirm’

Steps on how to perform Registered Interbank Account Transfer:

  • Click on ‘Transfer’ from main menu and select ‘Manage Transfer’ from sub menu
  • Select ‘Interbank GIRO’
  • Select a Savings or Current Account at ‘From Account’ drop down list

DuitNow

DuitNow is an electronic transfer service operated by PayNet that enables customers to transfer funds to recipient’s DuitNow Proxy ID or DuitNow account. You can register and transfer funds using DuitNow via AffinOnline.

Following IDs can be used for DuitNow registration:

  2. NRIC
  3. Army or Police Number
  4. Passport Number
  5. Business Registration Number

DuitNow is a new enhancement of instant transfer (eIBFT) service that is available within a participating bank’s online transfer facility, allowing users to instantly transfer money not just using their account number, but also their mobile, IC or Passport number. eIBFT previously offered in AffinOnline has now been replaced with DuitNow.

Yes, instead of using ID, you may transfer funds using account number as the beneficiary destination account. You may go to DuitNow > Pay to Account menu

No, each ID is unique, hence one ID can only be registered to one account, regardless of whether the accounts are from the same bank or different banks.

Yes, you may register your International Mobile Number complete with the country code. i.e 65XXXXXXXXXX - Singapore.

Note: DuitNow registration can be performed using your international mobile number or the passport number that has been registered in advance at AFFINBANK Branch.

At the moment, only active Savings Accounts and Current Accounts can be registered for DuitNow.

As the name suggests (read: do-it-now), DuitNow transfers occur immediately and recipients will usually receive money in their bank account instantly.

Yes, you may schedule future DuitNow – at a future date, or even on a recurring basis. You would be able to schedule future transaction for registered ID only.

Yes, you may save a DuitNow ID as your Registered Transfer, provided that you do not exceed a maximum of 50 Registered Transfers in total.

You can update your mobile phone number for TAC at AFFINBANK Branch.

Your registered DuitNow ID will be deregistered in the system automatically.

You can click on ‘DuitNow Maintenance’, hover over the ‘DuitNow ID’ that you wish to deregister. Click ‘DELETE’. You may also edit the preferred account linked to your DuitNow ID by clicking ‘EDIT’ at the same menu.

Transfer via DuitNow is safe and easy because you will no longer need to share your banking account number with anyone.

Telegraphic Transfer

Telegraphic Transfer enables customers to transfer money to 3rd party accounts in foreign countries.

The online TT service is only available from Monday to Friday, 10.00a.m. to 4.00p.m. Transfer made outside the stipulated time (including public holidays and Federal Territory state holidays) will be processed on the next business day.

The minimum transaction limit is foreign currency equivalent to RM50. You may perform more than one transaction per day up to RM10,000.

Standard format of Bank Identifier Codes (BIC) for a particular bank. Your transfer will only be rejected if the beneficiary details are incorrect or details are unable to be confirmed further by branch. To comply with Exchange Control requirements, AffinBank reserves the right to request for and to obtain all the supporting documentary evidence if deemed necessary. In such a case, the FTT instruction will only be executed upon sighting the documentary evidence.

Please liaise with branch for amendment on beneficiary details.

Immediately call branch or Contact Centre to request for the cancellation of transfer.

Note: Should there be a cancellation, there may be a potential foreign exchange loss which shall be borne by customer. Any refund by AffinBank of the transfer of funds amount shall be made where possible only to the applicant at AffinBank’s sole discretion (less all costs, interest, charges and expenses) subject to the compliance of such terms and conditions as may from time to time be stipulated by AffinBank, provided AffinBank is still in possession of the funds. If the amount is in foreign currency, the refund may be based on the AffinBank’s buying rate for the currency in question on the day the refund is made and subject to any exchange or other restrictions
